We are a Family Business based in the Sultanate of Oman with a focus of infrastructure development in the Middle East. Our group of companies operates under the guidance of His Majesty’s vision to enable connectivity in the Sultanate and since inception we have been focused on providing optimal solutions for various industries linked to infrastructure development inspired by His Majesty’s speech from 1975, “The extension of the road network was not limited to connect cities, but rather secondary roads were extended in the mountains to connect different villages and communities.”
Telecom & Critical Communications
Our group entered the critical communications industry in 2014 by forming Seera Communications LLC to focus on wireless telecommunication technology and we were contracted for the turnkey design, supply, installation and commissioning of TETRA Systems for the development of Muscat and Salalah International Airports in the Sultanate of Oman. We were able to integrate systems by DAMM, Sepura, Siemens, Thales and more to provide a complete Tetra solution for the airports. Today our group provides services towards major telecom projects in the Sultanate.
Drone Detection & Counter-Measure Solutions
Our group has partnered with Aaronia AG from Germany to provide solutions for drone detection and RF-monitoring. Aaronia have two decades of experience in the Test and Measurement of RF and Microwave communications. They have used their know-how to develop an effective method of monitoring drones and by doing so offer an effective method of monitoring the complete spectrum of RF in real-time. They have over 4 years of experience in the manufacturing and installing of drone detection systems with major upgrades releasing in a new generation of product every year. The development of their first system started 8 years ago built on years of foundation in spectrum analysis. Aaronia’s solution has been successfully tested and operated in Oman and we have been contracted by Oman Airports to deploy a first of its kind drone detection system at Muscat International Airport.
System Integration & Procurement
Our group is engaged in several long term contracts in the Sultanate of Oman for law enforcement and security related requirements. Our services include system integration, procurement, project management and we continually seek to provide optimal solutions for our customers’ various needs in safeguarding the country.
Building Materials
Since 1983, our group has dealt with the trade of all kinds of building materials ranging from fast moving commodities to special products as per the requirements of our institutional buyers. Our group supplies every major contractor in the country and has had a hand in most major projects through R&N Khimji LLC in Muscat and Jamnadas Khimji Partners Trading & Cont. Co. LLC in Salalah. In 1991, we established Ramesh Khimji Trading Est. in Dubai to further serve our customers in the region.
Bitumen
Since 1991, our group has been a major player in the trade of bitumen. Today we have attained a significant market share of the industry due to our reputation with our loyal customers and suppliers. In 2012, we formed Khimji Aspam LLC in the Sultanate of Oman and together with our JV partners we currently have around 40,000 MT of storage capability and our own in house logistics.
Wire Nail Manufacturing
Established in 1989, Oman Nails has since become the first & foremost company in the Sultanate to manufacture quality wire nails conforming to domestic as well as international standards. Our product has been exported all over the GCC, Africa, the U.S. and to European markets. Due to demand our group had set up a factory in America in the 1990s which we were able to exit through acquisition. Today, our product continues to be manufactured in Oman for local and international requirements.
Construction
In the past our group has engaged in several multi million Omani Rial projects for various public and private sector organizations where we have delivered turnkey solutions not limited to civil construction. We have been active in this industry for over 40 years and have had the distinction of being registered in the highest category with the Tender Board of the Government of Oman as excellent grade contractors.
